About Butterfly Love
Helping schools create cultures where every student feels seen, supported, and valued.

01 · The heart behind the work
My Story
People often ask me why I created Mindfulness Moments.
The answer isn't a curriculum.
It's a belief.
I believe every human being has inherent worth.
Not because of what we've accomplished.
Not because of our grades, our mistakes, our titles, or what someone else thinks of us.
We have worth because we are here.
That belief has become the foundation of my life, my work, and everything I create through Butterfly Love.
My journey hasn't been a straight line.
Like many of us, I've experienced trauma, loss, healing, joy, and the lifelong work of becoming.
Those experiences didn't give me all the answers.
But they taught me the extraordinary power of being seen.
Of being heard.
Of being reminded that our worth has never depended on our performance.
Working alongside students every day has only strengthened that belief.
Every day I meet students carrying stories that aren't visible on the outside. Some are navigating anxiety, grief, loneliness, family struggles, self-doubt, or the quiet pressure to believe they must earn love by achieving more, fixing others, or never making mistakes.
I recognize those feelings because I've known them too.
One conversation with a student has stayed with me. They shared that they had remained in an unhealthy relationship because they believed it was their job to rescue the other person.
As we talked, I realized the real struggle wasn't the relationship.
It was the belief that they weren't enough on their own.
That moment reminded me of the truth at the heart of Butterfly Love.
Worth isn't something we earn.
I don't have all the answers.
I'm still growing.
I'm still evolving.
And I'm grateful we get to grow together.
I don't believe mindfulness makes us perfect.
I believe it gives us permission to slow down long enough to remember who we've always been beneath the noise of the world.
That's why I created Mindfulness Moments.
Not to give teachers one more thing to do.
But to give schools one more way to help students feel seen.
To help them pause.
To breathe.
To reconnect with themselves and one another.
To remember that they matter.
My hope isn't simply to teach mindfulness.
My hope is to help create classrooms where dignity is protected, compassion is practiced, and every student knows they belong long before they question their worth.
If one student leaves a classroom believing
“I matter.”
then this work has already been worthwhile.
Thank you for being here.
I'm honored to share this journey with you.

02 · Purpose
My Mission
My mission is to help students feel seen, supported, and empowered by creating meaningful resources that nurture emotional well-being, resilience, compassion, and hope.
I believe every person has inherent worth—not because of what they achieve, but simply because they exist.
Through Mindfulness Moments, my goal is to equip educators and school leaders with practical, heart-centered tools that support student belonging, emotional well-being, and a positive school culture.
Together, we can create a world where every student knows they belong before they believe they can become.
